Dieter Lingelbach
graduated from Wilhems-University in Muenster, Westfalia and then from
Indiana University, supported by a Fulbright grant. He holds an MBA
degree. Following school he joined Booz, Allen & Hamilton as a Management
Consultant in their Duesseldorf and New York offices. His fields of
competence were strategy and organization, primarily for Health Care
and Life Science Industries. 4 years later he transferred over to Roche
Diagnostics, by the time „Boehringer Mannheim“, as Head
of Strategy / M&A for their new business initiatives in Life Science
and Consumer Diagnostics. Shortly after was he promoted to General Manager
for Hestia Pharma GmbH, Boehringer Mannheim’s OTC-subsidiary at
the time. Again 4 years laters he transferred back into the Boehringer
Mannheim / Roche Diagnostics organization. Since 1996 he acts as Senior
VP responsible for Global Marketing at Roche Molecular Bio-chemicals,
one of several business units within Roche Diagnostics. This unit is
one of the world’s leading suppliers of biochemical materials
and instrument systems to Life Science research and related industry.
